Do you know what the Algonquin Round Table was? It was a little collective of writers who read, critiqued, and supported each other's work. Really, it wasn't all that unique even in the 1920s. Over the years writers have developed this mystique - this loner's image: crazy, brooding, alcoholic, crazy and alone.
But it doesn't have to be that way.
We at the University of Cincinnati's Creative Writers Guild are here to create a new collective of writers and poets in Cincinnati to foster the creation of new worlds, perspectives, and, ultimately, writing.
